OUT & ABOUT WITH THE ARTS

WHAT’S NEW
GALLERY & BOUTIQUE: Open Saturdays 10:00am – 2:00pm.

CENTAL REGIONAL JURIED ART EXHIBIT – OPEN HOUSE – Friday April 27th Golden Prairie Art Gallery, Carman. Local artists have their work in this exhibit. The exhibit contains pieces of exceptional quality that are critiqued and judged. A number of pieces are chosen to tour the province being displayed in galleries and prominent buildings throughout Manitoba. Plan to take in this event.
WINE TASTING EVENING: So much fun we’re doing it again! Thursday, May 17th at the Gallery. It will be a different presentation with different wines and food.  Again tickets will be limited and they are already in demand. If you want to reserve a spot call now!  
HOEBIG MOROZ –May 27th. What a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon in spring. This world renowned musical team, who are members of the Winnipeg Symphony, will provide us with an exceptional concert, and we’ll provide the refreshments that follow. Watch here for more details and Come Join Us!
JAMES GRANT – COMEDY HYPNOTIST:  Prepare to be astonished! Get ready for an evening filled with laughter and wonder. Wednesday, May 30th. Watch here for more details or give us a call, but make sure you put this in your calendar so you won’t miss it!
PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS: with Wayne Benedet June 8th & 9th. We are planning three photography sessions beginning with a Refresher class Friday evening 7–10, an Intermediate class Saturday morning 9-12, and a Field Trip Saturday afternoon 12-5 with a barbeque wind up. If you are looking to get more from your camera or just a better shot you will find what you are searching for in one or all of these workshops. Call the Gallery for more information or to register.
RAINBOW STAGE:  Rainbow Stage is featuring “ANNIE”.   We have tickets reserved for August 21st bus included. Tickets are already selling so call the Gallery to reserve yours today. We also have tickets reserved for “FOOTLOOSE” on June 26th.

PHONE BOOKS: We still have a few phone books left. You can pick up yours at businesses in Cypress River, Holland, Treherne, and Rathwell. They are also available right here at the Gallery. At just $6.00 it is a great fundraiser for us and a bargain for you. 
MEMBERSHIPS KEEP THE DOORS OPEN – The organization needs you as a member and supporter.  Individual memberships are $20.00, Families and Group $35.00.  The Tiger Hills Arts Association is a non-profit charitable organization, which encourages the enjoyment of all aspects of the arts.  Members are important to us as they are the key contacts within the communities we serve.  Membership is open to all interested parties and is an important aspect of our granting programs. Membership gives you the opportunity to see great Art displays at our Gallery, great concerts and events in our communities and great programming for you and your children. Membership enriches your life.
